Bad news is coming in threes for Japan's auto makers.

Already hit by slowing economies, a credit crunch in major export markets such as the U.S. and Europe, and sluggish sales in Japan, the nation's car companies now have to worry about another problem: A sharply stronger yen which will eat into repatriated profits.
